Step 3: Incorporating Inclusion & Accessibility


Reflect on what we’ve just read about Inclusion and Accessibility.

Think about the examples used in your course, and contemplate ways to ensure they are inclusive.

Think about ways you can ensure new content you create can be accessible.

Try not to let this overwhelm you – remember, there are resources and people who can help.

For now, just relax and let your mind be open to new possibilities.


Review your Plan of Activities.

Keep two things in mind as you look through your weekly schedule:

  1. How can I frame these weeks/modules in an inclusive way?
  2. Where can I add examples, readings, or materials that include underrepresented populations?


Using the Module Template, create a Module in your Blackboard Course shell.
